Pixel Puzzle - Update June/26/2022

So, it's been two months. I have been struggling to do any job at all. I have decided to start building a Game Design Document. This is I think something we should always do, no matter how small the project is. For me, it will work as a way to keep myself deviating to other ideas. Sometimes is hard to ignore new awesome ideas that come to mind. But if I pay too much attention to those, the game will never be finished.

I have made a slight change on the portals. They still work the same, but they will now do slight zoom in and out whenever you approach them. I have decided to do this as a way to let the player know that something is about to happen. For example, when they approach a stair to go into the next level, or when they switch to another npc (The player will be able to play as a knight, archer, wizard or thief). Also, after looking at the player's animation, I decided I didn't like it. It's still not perfect, but I like it better now.

Now that I'm working on the Game Design Document, I think I should have more  stable progress, For example, next thing to do will be to add tiles that will be activating platforms and walls. That means that first I will have to increase the tileset. I should be adding those by next weekend.
